About Les Berger

Les Berger has substantial experience in California real estate having obtained his CA Broker license in 2010, with that experience spanning multiple states including Texas, West Virginia, Tennessee, and Florida. Operating a mom and pop company with his also broker-licensed wife Carol, the family team specialized in flipping residential properties, first renovating and remodeling homes, then managing many as long-term rentals, and others as short-term vacation rentals, including several beachfront homes on Galveston Island, before finally selling the properties on. Their numerous transactions included commercial Triple-Net Lease properties.

As a hands-on real estate professional, Les performed all aspects of his company’s real estate activities including personally performing renovations. A skilled and accomplished real estate professional, he is an advisor that speaks with authority on a diverse range of real estate subject matter.    

As an alumnus of the University of Houston, with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business and Commerce (Cum Laude), Les initially proceeded on a 15-year corporate career with some of the biggest companies in America, including industry giant Exxon, rated number 1 in sales in USA at the time. He also worked for one of the largest banks in Texas, and an investment banking firm that specialized in oil and gas company mergers. His immense corporate experience encompassed the areas of Finance, Business Development, Marketing, Computing, and Business Process Re-Engineering. His swansong job in corporate America was a position as Negotiations Manager.

Seeking a new challenge, Les proceeded on a successful 20-year career in life insurance, annuity, and mutual fund sales, which included credentials as a licensed Life Settlement Broker.
